1. How to read a Prochef product number?

2. What is included when I buy a sink?

3. Should I choose s stainless steel or a fireclay sink?
The sink is the hardest working part of your kitchen, so in addition to thinking about appearance, you have to consider the material the sink is made of before making a choice.
ProInox sinks are more common in kitchens because they match stainless steel appliances. You can choose from a line of handcrafted or embossed sinks with a contemporary or traditional style. These products are available for topmount and undermount installation.
Refractory clay sinks have a glossy white non-porous finish, hygienic and easy to clean. They are also very resistant to splinters and cracks. 4. Should I get a topmount or undermount sink?
Before deciding which type of installation is right for your sink, consider your countertop. Topmount installation is recommended for laminate, wood, and ceramic tile countertops to hide the edges of the cut and to help prevent mold. Our low profile edge also makes wiping water and debris from the countertop easy. However, for quartz, granite, marble, and Corian countertops you may choose topmount or undermount installation. You might also want to consider other factors like style or function.
5. What are the advantages of a country style sink?
In addition to giving a timeless look to your kitchen, the country type sink, or apron, is very ergonomic. Thanks to its installation with exposed apron, the distance between you and the workspace is reduced, which also reduces body fatigue. 6. How do I know what size to choose?
Here is the main question: Are you replacing a sink on the same counter or is this a new installation?
In the first case, the counter is already in place, and holes have already been cut to accommodate the old sink, so your size options are limited. The new sink has to be the same size or bigger than the old one. Be careful! Since your cabinets will be in the same place as well, you have to measure the cabinet space under the sink and choose a topmount model that will fit (see question 7).
In the second case, there are no holes in your countertop yet. That leaves you with more options, but you will still have to consider the size of the cabinet under the sink before making your final choice (see question 7).
Once you have determined the maximum dimensions, it is time to consider how much use the sink will get. Will the cooks in your home use it a little or a lot? Do you generally use big pots and pans? If so, it might be better to have a large single bowl. Will you be installing a garbage disposal unit? Will you be hand washing your dishes? In that case, two bowls would be a good idea.
7. Which bowl configuration is best?
Once you have chosen the material, installation type, and size of your sink, all that’s left to decide on is the number of bowls and their depth.
To decide how many bowls you need, consider the size of your kitchen and how you will be using your sink. A single bowl is great for smaller spaces with little countertop workspace. Double bowls offer greater maneuverability because you can, for example, use one side to wash dishes and the other for rinsing or drying.
As for sink depth, the average is 8" or 10". So ask yourself if use large pots and pans. If so, you probably need a single 10" deep bowl for easy handling and cleanup.
